JCRC Thanks Community Organizations for Lighting Up Against antisemitism!

The JCRC thanks all of our local synagogues for lighting up our community to "Shine A Light" on antisemitism!

South Jersey synagogues, Jewish day schools and the Katz JCC in Cherry Hill participated with us in the national "Shine A Light" campaign Tuesday night, December 20, 2022, to take a stand against antisemitism and leave the lights on all night, in addition to lighting the third candle on the menorah that night, to signify the third night of Hanukkah.

Also, thanks to CBS News coverage of this campaign.

The Cherry Hill Sun also covered our event with quotes from our JFed marketing team partners and a broader description of the event:

The Sun Papers: Jewish Organizations Shine Lights on antisemitism!

More than a dozen synagogues and day schools in Gloucester, Camden and Burlington counties participated this year, including synagogues Kol Ami and Temple Beth Sholom in Cherry Hill and Congregation B’nai Tikvah Beth Israel in Washington Township.

Hatred and antisemitism have no place in our community, and we are stronger together! #shinealight
