The March of Remembrance 2016 is still on!


For those wishing to walk, registration begins at 9:00 am at 1721 Springdale Road



If you choose not to walk, but would like to attend the performance, registration begins starting at 9:45 am at the JCC at 1301 Springdale Road.


Walk-Ins are welcome to attend, please register at 1721 Springdale Road starting at 9:00 am or 1301 Springdale Road starting at 9:45 am if you wish to walk in.

  1. What happens if it rains?     
    The event will be held Rain or Shine
  2. How far is the route that we walk?  
    There are 2 different routes. The more popular route is about 2 miles long but many people take the shorter route which is a little less than 1 mile.
  3. What if I can’t walk that far?   
    Please join us for the performance entitled, Life In a Jar, which begins at the Katz JCC at 10:30am. It is the true story of Righteous Rescuer, Irena Sendler.
  4. Where should I park my car?    
    You are welcome to park at either the Federation Annex Building or at the Katz JCC. If you are participating in the March with friends, you might want to have 1 person park at each location so you can easily get a ride back to the Annex after the performance is over. If you think that you’re going to need a ride back to your car, please e-mail Jean Klein at in advance and we’ll make sure to get you a ride back to your car.
  5. Where do I get my tickets after I pay on-line?  
    There are no physical tickets. Once you have paid on-line, your name will be added to the registration list. If you are participating in the March, check in at the registration desk at the 1721 Annex. If you are not participating in the March and just joining us for the performance, then check in at the registration desk in the JCC lobby.
  6. Can I bring elementary age children?  
    Children of all ages are welcome to be part of the March. If you are staying for the performance, that is age appropriate for students in grades 5 and above. There is babysitting available at the JCC if your children are too young for the performance.
  7. How do I become a sponsor of the program?
    Please contact David Snyder at  to discuss sponsoring the event. Any sponsors who confirm prior to September 19th will be listed on the t-shirts.
  8. How do I get a t-shirt?
    Anyone who is pre-registered will get a t-shirt when they check in at the registration desk on the day of the event.
